Challenges:

PPM was required to oversee the master-planning, design (including infrastructure), and construction, relocation of former facilities, and new campus development. Reporting structures to inform Board, as well as enable operational decisions to be made promptly. PPM also needed to provide additional advice to the client to ensure they could claim and incorporate government funding into the project. Program delivery was also a critical issue for the client.

Solutions:

PPM adopted a client-focussed approach to project management through driving PCG meetings, providing informed advice to the client, and highlighting aspects which required forward planning such as approvals via the BER. PPM’s management of the program took primary importance throughout, ensuring the client was constantly updated.

Results:

PPM delivered a successful project, enabling the client to secure funding via the BER.
