Challenges:

This project involved the demolition of some of the existing facilities, construction of a two level facility housing a 40 bed ward with medical imaging facilities, and associated car parking. Project challenges included initial delays in obtaining possession of the site, document deficiencies, and dealing with a large amount of unknown services information.

Solutions:

Project was delivered within programme despite extensive episodes of inclement weather, and within budget, allowing for less than 2% in variations.
