Challenges:
Deliver a ‘benchmark-setting’ office building in the refurbishment of an historic 100+ year old building, for integrated fitout and occupation by KPMG of 27,000m². Within the historic building, internal atriums and modern services needed to be integrated to provide for an A grade building and the ensuing technical demands of their workforce.
Solutions:
PPM effectively coordinated the design, programming and cost planning aspects of the project from commencement, whilst managing the requirements of the incoming head tenant. Based on strong programming, cost-management and value adding capability, PPM delivered a responsive and client-focussed process for their client.
Results:
Head tenant KPMG moved into the premises and commenced operating with seamless integration. The building showed strong tenure and investment yields for a long period due to the successful delivery and its establishment as one of Melbourne’s premier commercial office buildings.
