Project Update – Spotswood Union Quarter

Progress continues to gain momentum following the engagement of Hickory Constructions after the collapse of ABD Group late in 2021. With structure for both major buildings topping out and tower cranes removed, façade installation is well advanced along with internal services, lifts, and fitting out of apartments.

Fit-out works have commenced for major retail partners Woolworths and Dan Murphy’s, and specialty retail shop fit-outs will commence in early 2023. External infrastructure works are nearing completion with the Melbourne Road intersection signaling upgrade remaining. The project completion date remains set for mid-2023.

Once complete, the project will comprise 334 apartments, major retail partners, and 20 specialty retail and medical tenants.
