PPM needed to take a lead role in coordinating the project team and deliver on our experience in residential projects. As the client was intent on driving the quality aspects of the project, PPM needed to ensure value engineering aspects were considered when translating design intentions. Also, the demand demographic shifted during the sales phase, requiring quick adaption and a thorough review process.
PPM adopted a client-focussed role in all aspects, ensuring the project team and client were effectively communicated to and remained on task. We worked with the building contractor to gain buildability input to cost effectiveness of structural & façade systems and use of materials. PPM’s experience was vital in being ensuring the project remained on program and cost plan not impacted.
The project reached its pre-sales targets to commence construction, and design standards remained within the budget, due to the coordination of the overall project team and their ability to work together. Variations to the apartment designs were captured within strong budgetary controls.
